E Q E A R C H: Architectural Excellence Led by Emmanuel Q Etrata
Emmanuel Q. Etrata, the principal of EQEARCH, was born in the Philippines and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the prestigious Mapúa Institute of Technology in Manila. Founded in 1925 by Tomás Mapúa, the first registered Filipino architect and a Cornell University alumnus, the institute has a long-standing reputation for excellence in architectural education.
Two years after earning his degree, Emmanuel began his career as a draftsman with RDC Architects in Singapore, where he worked for five years. During this time, he also pursued studies in graphic design, further broadening his skill set.
Emmanuel later relocated to New York City to continue his career in architecture. He became an NYC DOB Class-2 Expediter, gaining deep expertise in navigating the complexities of obtaining plan approvals in New York. After acquiring his architect's license, he joined the American Institute of Architects.
EQEARCH was established to provide specialized architectural services, focusing on residential projects, condominiums, and apartment buildings across New York City's five boroughs. The firm excels in both new construction and interior alterations, delivering high-quality solutions tailored to each client's needs.
